Biography
Kevin Beaulieu is an imagery analyst and engineering imagery previsualization specialist for the Image Science & Analysis Group of the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) Division at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Beaulieu provides engineering imagery acquisition planning support for the MPCV and International Space Station Programs, with an emphasis on 3-D simulation and imagery previsualization from the perspective of land, air and space-based imagery systems. He had provided real-time imagery analysis support during Space Shuttle missions, leading a team of imagery analysts during on-orbit inspection of the Shuttle thermal protection system. He is part of a multi-disciplinary team that is developing streamlined processes to collect, process and visualize new high-resolution precision photography and X-ray computed tomography data of NASA’s Apollo Lunar and Antarctic Meteorite samples for the 3D Virtual Astromaterials Samples (3DVAS) Collection project.
